If Apple users are still not satisfied with some of the company's recent products, they might want to reconsider again as Apple Inc on Tuesday unveiled its two new upgrades- a new Force Touch 15-inch MacBook Pro and a cheaper version of the 27-inch iMac.
On Tuesday morning, Apple has announced its newly improved 15-inch MacBook Pro which features an upgrade in speed and memory. The new MacBook Pro is built with a flash storage that is around 2GBps faster compared to its previous generation. According to the company, the new product also includes an upgrade in its battery life. It can now last up to nine hours of web browsing, one hour longer than its predecessors.
The new 15-inch MacBook Pro follows the 12 and 13-inch MacBook Pros in providing Apple's pressure-sensitive Force Touch technology that uses Taptic Engines to sense and perform particular actions according to the pressure applied, and enables the delivery of feedback even without actually moving.
Aside from the 15-inch MacBook Pro, a new 27-inch iMac was also announced by the company. The shrunk-down version of Apple's 5k iMac features a 27-inch 5k Retina display, a 3.3-GHz quad-core version of Intel's Core i5 chip replacing Apple's 1 standard Terabyte of internal storage (which replaces Apple's pricier hybrid Fusion flash disk/drives) and price point of $1,999, or $500 cheaper than the original model's price of $2499.
"Customers love the groundbreaking iMac with Retina 5K display, and now with a new lower starting price, even more people can experience the best desktop we've ever made," Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller declared.
Apple is said to supposedly wait until the Worldwide Developers Conference before unveiling their new products but it looks like the company was already itching to let the world know of their two new great innovations.
