After Google's New Photos App Leak, Android M Is Rumored To Be The Next Upgrade; Will This Be Revealed During Google I/O 2015?

The Google I/0 2015 is happening on Thursday in San Francisco where the company announces the major revamps they will be making and people are expecting that the new Google standalone Photos app as well as the Android M will be released then.

Days after photos of the Photos app's new interface and features surfaced online, Android M is the latest buzz and a lot is expecting that it will be be unveiled during the Google I/O 2015. The Android M is said to be the new mobile and tablet operating system for Android-powered devices. The name Android M is yet to be confirmed as there have been no reports regarding the real name of the revamped system.

The company released a 2-day schedule and they accidentally gave away a piece of information regarding Android M. This is reportedly to be revealed during the Android for Work Update session on the first day of the event. Google, however, removed this from the schedule as speculations regarding Android M continued to surface.

In the description written in the schedule, Google described Android M as "bringing the power of Android to all kinds of workplaces. This opens huge new markets for hundreds of millions of devices to workers at small business, deskless workers, logistics and warehousing jobs; all be empowered by adoption of Android devices at Work."

Android M is expected to include a multi-screen and multi-window feature and a Theme engine. These have not been included in the Android Open Source Project launched in the past and is being currently used by companies such as Samsung, Sony, and HTC. Android M is also expected to have a support for the fingerprint authentication as Google was rumored to have setup and enrollment process regarding fingerprint lock screen.  

Other revamps and apps that are expected to be unveiled during the I/O 2015 are the following: New Chromecast, New Calendar, New Hangouts Features, Android Pay, Android@Home, Project Ara, Android Wear, Android Auto, Internet of Things, and Google Search Buy Buttons.
