Squarespace users who find posting their content in Pinterest quite inconvenient do not have to worry anymore as this afternoon, they will be finally getting a set of tools which will allow them to publish their posts more easily and access the traffic data of their account in the bookmarking site.
Last time around, Pinterest's additional 'Pin it' tool still need a minor sum of code added straight to the website but with this new assimilation made it possible to attach it in the user interface of the Squarespace settings. Being a website builder is what usually interests the businesses to use Squarespace but not all of them have someone who is knowledgeable enough to set up a richer website. It is with this that Pinterest made the initiative to provide the said tools to the Squarespace users.
"We have a few basic free tools that we tell businesses to use," Jimmy Sopko, Pinterest's online channel partner manager stated. "The Pin It button, Rich Pins, all these add value to your business, but before the integration this required a bit of code. Now it's easier to add these tools."
Once the feature is activated, Squarespace spontaneously identifies what portion of the content will be published directly on Pinterest. The new tools also offer a setting to the Squarespace users to automatically publish their newly added content on the bookmarking site. But that's not all; the new feature also comes with Pinterest's analytics suite which provides the user a full picture of the status of their content through giving information about the type people from Pinterest who visit their site.
Rich Pins was also made available to Squarespace website wherein more real-time information from the site like price, availability, ingredients and reviews can be seen. This feature is actually accessed more compared to non-rich pins.
Pinterest's collaboration with Squarespace is only one of the bookmarking site's partnerships of this kind. If progressive, Pinterest would continue to discover more initiatives like this in the future.
