Two men have been stabbed at the Tuft University campus specifically at a frat house located in Medford, Massachusetts, and police are investigating the stabbing incident as they have already started questioning one student.

According to NECN, a news website based in Massachusetts, the incident took place on Sunday morning. The frat house was identified as the Delta Tau Delta and police officials pointed out that the unidentified men are 19 and 20 years old. The 19-year-old's wounds were not that serious but the older man's injuries were more life-threatening. Both men have been rushed to a hospital and are being treated.

The police officials first ordered citizens in the area to be in their homes until further notice but the order was lifted a few hours after since the crime was found out to not be a random act. Police officials released a statement saying that they already identified a student who is the initial suspect in the said stabbing.

The fraternity, Delta Tau Delta, released a statement regarding the incident and they noted they will be cooperating with the officials. They also pointed out that there are only a few men occupying the fraternity house since classes for spring have already ended.

Tufts University spokeswoman Kim Thurler said that there will be an enhanced police presence in their campus but they have not given out more details regarding the student being questioned by the police officials. Tufts University also took to their Twitter page to give updates regarding the incident and to alert their students.

The Tufts University asked anyone who might have any information regarding the suspect and encouraged witnesses to come forward and contact the following number: 617-627-3030.

The summer academic term for the university is set to start soon and police officials will reportedly still be in the area even if students are to resume their activities for the said term.
