It seems that Apples dying iPod lineup has risen back to life, leaking new models with gold, blue and hot pink colors. The new released iTunes 12.2 updates leaked that the new iPod touch, shuffle, and nano will have unique colors that are not yet available in the present lineup.

Back in April, Apple Insider already reported that the giant tech company Apple was planning to revisit the dwindling media player lineup this 2015 with new, exciting hardware. To see the new, upcoming iPod lineup, you should plug your iPod to a Mac or a PC and connect to iTunes. There are existing Apple iPods that has the color pink and blue, but the new iPods in the leaks has a different hue. Besides the colors, there are no new updates about other changes that the latest devices will have. But according to reports the new models will be out later in 2015.

Meanwhile, according to LatinoPost, the alleged sixth-generation iPod Touch line may be released on September 2015. That is based on the internet grapevine and is not yet officially confirmed by Apple. According to reports, the new iPod touch will have a two Retina Display and a 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch in size, which is familiar to iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users.

According to MacRumors, Apple has not updated their iPod color since 2013. But the new blue, pink, and gold color is not yet officially confirmed by Apple and when their release dates would be. There are observers who speculate that the Calendar icon on the screenshot of the leak image may give a hint on when the release date would be. The date on the screenshot is fixed on Tuesday, July 14.

This time would be a great time for Apple to update on their music platform, especially with the Beats product integration into its environment.
