Here are the top 3 Halloween destinations to spend Halloween around the world:

Halloween Destination #1: Dracula's Castle, Romania

Bran Castle has long been linked to the story of the darkest figure of the European methodology, Count Dracula. The dramatic castle is located on the hilltop of central Romania, between Bucegi and Piatra Craiului Mountains, and built in the 14th century. Anyone is welcome to visit the place which is open to the public and witness its creepy rooms and dark hallways.

It is said that the iconic Dracula's empire is visited by half a million people every year. The castle features grandeur designs of Gothic-inspired furniture, long dining table and bedrooms designed with eerie statues and carvings and showcases 14th century armory and weaponry, according to Daily Mail.

Bram Stoker created the story of Dracula in 1837, but it is said that he himself has never visited the historic Halloween destination.

Halloween Destination #2:  Day of the Dead, Oaxaca, Mexico

Every year during Halloween, the streets of Oaxaca are covered with colorful flowers and candy calaveras (freaky skeletons and skulls). The Mexicans believe that their departed family visits the living on Oct. 31 and leaves on Nov.2.

Day of the Dead is mostly observed in Janitzio Island. Locals celebrate the holiday by playing music, performing folk dances and gathering through processions as the family prays for their dead families. They pray and chant music all night while fishermen are seen lighting their torches in the lake, Get Away reports.
