Japan’s Grossiest Cafe Ever: Poo- Curry Shimizu Cafe in Tokyo named as the grossiest restaurant ever

In his efforts to create a dish with the taste of a human poop, a Japanese chef and former adult film actor decided to give human defecation a chance to be served in his kitchen. And now, many guests labelled his shop as the grossiest curry cafe they had ever visited.

According to Oddity Central, the Tokyo-based eatery launched earlier this month with the house specialty called "poo-flavored curry." The dish allegedly doesn't literally contain any actual human crap. It actually has natural ingredients like green tea, bitter gourd and cocoa powder that, when combined, looks and tastes comparable with human feces.

And to improve the imagination of visitors, the caca curry is even served in a porcelain bowl meant to resemble a bedpan. The poo-flavored curry is the idea of the chef Ken Shimizu, who picked the ingredients and made the defecation dish to remind people of his other work. The chef was reportedly a male porn actor before he became a chef and he has claimed that has eaten feces in some of his filmsSo , as reported by Kotaku.

But even if the food is better than it looks, or smells, the curry cafe owner Shimizu will seemingly have a difficult battle in convincing food critics and clients to have a bite of his poo-like curry. Rocket News also mentioned that Shimizu toiled over the poo-curry recipe for three years before settling on this one.

The Curry Shop Shimizu places its plate on the menu despite the negative feedback from the marketing survey conducted by Shimizu. The results of the survey showed that out of 400 young adults polled, only 5.7 percent said they will try to visit the shop while a staggering 75 percent were unwavering about never stepping foot in the poo- curry restaurant. And about 10.5 percent of those asked said they were not totally turned off by the idea, but they'd still never go.

Meanwhile, these results don't discourage the former adult film star slash chef Shimizu, he still believes that they would defeat the market research data results. The cafe management also claimed that the restaurant is not so much about sating appetites, their goal is to give diners a good time.
