Delta Award Tickets: Great Award availability to Accra Ghana in Delta Business Class

Nov 06, 2015 05:36 AM EST

Clients claim that there are more award travel opportunities at Delta's lowest rate to Accra Ghana from New York. Moreover, travelers can actually book a flight in business class for travel dates from now all the way through September of 2016.

Although Delta's JFK nonstop is one of the most comfortable ways to fly to Africa, the tickets can be quite expensive for travelers. Fortunately, there are quite a few dates where the airline company is offering the lower award ticket rates in business class. In addition, many of these offered flights have availability, with at least 9 seats available throughout the schedule given by the airline.

Award tickets on the Accra Ghana route are often more than 200,000 miles in business class, so  if travelers plan on going to Ghana, especially with miles, clients refer this as a steal. According to The Points Guy, the Delta's international business class is convenient and comfortable with flat-bed seats and a 1 x 2 x 1 configuration. And if they are using the Platinum or Diamond medallion status, they can also change their award ticket for free up to 72 hours before their departure time.

In addition, these flyers can earn Delta miles with the use of their Gold Delta SkyMiles Card from American Express. They can also transfer from Membership Rewards using points earned with cards like the Amex Premier Rewards Gold. For more tips on working toward Delta awards, they can also browse other posts on the said site talking about earning Delta SkyMiles without Flying.

But this will not be the only time Delta will be giving out award availability for flights. Travelers can also book awards to Europe  for travel dates next summer with the use of their SkyMiles  with a little or no fuel surcharges, as reported by Mile Cards. Delta currently has a ton of saver availability between the US and Europe during summer 2016 with flights starting at 60,000 miles round-trip in economy, plus a surcharge that varies depending on the flight. Normally, these routes could exceed 100,000 miles round-trip, so 60,000 miles is a steal.

Meanwhile, frequent flyers revealed that although the flights in Accra are available, finding reasonably priced Delta award tickets can be quite challenging and extremely rare in business class to Africa. Additionally, the airline doesn't issue any guarantee that these rates will be available for quite a long time, so they are taking advantage of these low-level redemption while they're still available.
