Air Berlin to Operate Daily flights on Three Newly Added Flight Routes to the US from Dusseldorf

Germany's second largest airline, Air Berlin to operate new three flight routes in the US from Dusseldorf in 2016. The said new routes are set to begin its flight service in the summer in May next year.

According to the Financial Channel, Air Berlin's newly added daily flight routes are to Dallas, San Francisco and Boston.  The first flight service will be from the Dusseldorf to Dallas Forthworth Airport to depart on the 6^th of May followed by the set depart schedule of flight service route in Boston on the 7^th of May. Also with San Francisco flight route to have three weekly flights first, then in June, it will have five services a week. Air Berlin will also include two Californian flight routes, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

The Air Berlin CEO, Stefan Pichler said, "Optimising our network has been a central component of the realignment at airberlin. We are thereby focusing on our hubs in Berlin and Dusseldorf. Now by expanding our long-haul network, we are developing this important segment in order to make our offer even more attractive to business passengers and tourists."

Flights to Dallas will be four times every week service, while in San Francisco to have to five-times weekly flight service and Boston to have three times flights weekly and will increase to four on the 12^th of June. Air Berlin will be using the A330-200 aircraft type on all added new destination flights, the Business Traveller reported.

Stefan Pichler also added, "The United States is an important part of our network strategy, and we are convinced we can grow even more on this market. We see a high potential in the important business travel market, where we aim to score points thanks to a stable route network and our excellent product." the SysCon wrote.

Air Berlin flights to Dallas will be every Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, while flights to San Francisco will be Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays until June 9, when it will also operate on Mondays and Thursdays. For flights to Boston from Dusseldorf, the service will operate every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, until June 12, when it will also run on Sundays.
