Elon Musk, the Chief Executive of Tesla, has started using Twitter extensively to recruit people in their company.  Yesterday, he tweeted that he is looking for competent software engineers for his own line of electric vehicles.

The motto of hiring new talent in the company is to achieve completely generalized autonomy in autonomous vehicle division. In fact, he is going to arrange interviews in social media itself and will be involved personally in some of them too.

As per Techcrunch report, Elon Musk tweeted "Ramping up the Autopilot software team at Tesla to achieve generalized full autonomy. If interested, contact autopilot@teslamotors.com." The offer is obviously lucrative for those who wish to be a part of an exceptional futuristic project.

The applicants do not need to possess previous experience on automobile industry to be eligible for the position. All you just need to do is send some code sample or links of your work. Another point that one needs to notice is that now Authorities of automobile industry are looking for people who have immense knowledge of software rather than hardware.

The futuristic vehicle projects require more of software knowledge compared to hardware. The software division will actually be in charge of the entire auto-pilot system of the autonomous vehicle.

The auto-pilot system will allow the Model S Sedan to turn into a quasi-autonomous car. However, the system will not be in control of the vehicle entirely. It will help to navigate road hazards and highway traffic by providing proper directions or instructions. The autonomous vehicles of Tesla are not like Google's fully automated self-driving cars.

The company is quite confident about their project and new approach of recruiting. According to the Threenovice reports, The latest addition to that line up was the Model X unveiled at the end of September - around the same time Musk told one publication, "If you don't make it at Tesla, you go work at Apple."

However, Musk admitted that the magical futuristic makeover of vehicles will take some time approx. three years.Tesla first announced the launch of the autonomous car in October and they are moving towards achieving their goal.

In order to make their project successful, Tesla hired ex-Google employee Jason Wheeler as their Chief financial officer. During the Forbes interview in early November, Musk hinted about their future plans without explaining it fully until an official announcement.

As the Forbes cited, when Musk was asked to clarify his hints of a new project by the reporter, all he stated was "I think there's a right time to make announcements, and this is not that time. Nor is our strategy fully baked here, so for us to state what it would be-it's not fully baked, so there's no- We'd prefer to announce something when we think we've got the full story understood."

Undoubtedly they have made a grand announcement of their project with an additional twist of recruiting people through social media.
