OLA Hires the Infosys Veteran Rajiv Bansal As The Chief Financial Officer Of The Company

After the bang on $500 million fund raiser, Ola comes in with another big news. The archrival of Uber, Ola has announced the appointment of the Infosys veteran, Rajiv Bansal as their Chief Financial Officer. It is said that Bansal has resigned from India's 2nd largest software company in the month of October. He will be joining the Softbank-supported Ola in the month of January 2016.

As reported in Techcrunch, the co-founder and CEO of Ola said in a statement "We are thrilled to welcome Rajiv onboard.. his experience of being at the helm of finance for one of India's most respected companies will help us in adopting best practices and in realizing our mission of building mobility for a billion people."

Ola officials stated that Rajiv's experience in the financial sector for 21 years makes Rajiv the best choice for the core leadership team of Ola. For 16 years, Bansal was a part of Infosys as the CFO and lately evolved as being the advisor to the Infosys CEO. Mitesh Shah, the present Chief Financial Officer of Ola is said to be a part of the team of Bansal, leading the strategic financial programs.

The Uber rival, Ola is sure to adopt the best practices with the appointment of Bansal who has years of experience in companies like Cable & Wireless, Tata Technologies, and ABB before joining Infosys.
