Sprint Announces LG G4 Release On June 5; Price Starts At $199.99

After unveiling its latest flagship smartphone a couple of weeks ago, LG's highly anticipated LG G4 is finally set to hit the United States market via Sprint on June 5th with a starting price of $199.99.

LG's newest smartphone, which boasts an impressive collection of photography tools, is finally available at Sprint beginning next week. Offered in Metallic Gray and Genuine Leather Black, LG G4 is set to be sold for $199.99 for a two-year contract and $599.99 off contract. For those who cannot afford to pay outright, Sprint also offers a two-tiered leasing program which costs only $18 monthly for two years or $28 monthly for one year.

LG G4 models will also be available in T-Mobile and Verizon which will be released on June 2nd and June 4th respectively. Though A&T has already confirmed making the devise available in its network, the official time frame is yet to be released.

LG G4 was officially released in the global market on May 19. It has a 5.5-inch display with 1440x2560 pixel resolution. The new gadget features a removable back panel which lets users remove or change the battery. It also allows them to install additional storage with the use of a micro SD card.

Other than that, the device also offers a 16-megapixel rear camera. With its f/1.8 aperture lens, the phone's camera takes in more light and provides a faster shutter speed to capture DSLR-quality images. Not only can it capture photos of up to 5312 x 2988 megapixel but also shoots videos at 2160p and 1080p with 30 fps and 60 fps rate respectively.

The new smartphone runs on the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chip. But that's not all, it also comes with a 3GB of RAM memory and 32GB of internal storage.

Meanwhile, pre-order of LG G4 can already be done in Sprint today. Buyers can win themselves some freebies which includes a 32GB Micro SD Card, an extra 3,000 mAh battery and a battery charging cradle.
