Recently, Nintendo has been dealing with smartphone games and it will not be surprising if Nintendo NX dedicated gaming system could run Android. According to Nikkei (Japan) report, Nintendo NX is meant to include both TV bound and mobile gaming, as it deals with smartphones and PCs.
It is not an odd thing to have Android powered gaming console, as Nvidia have shipped multiple devices just to fit with the general description. Nintendo NX is still on progress and have no certain information announcements about it. Though, the recent system hardware releases of Nintendo has made us amazed, and we might not know what more Nintendo NX has to give. From 3DS to Wii U, these consoles have made Nintendo sales rise and went incredibly popular to consumers.

It shows that Nintendo is doing some more high tech modifications for consumers gaming experience. It might have engage with some game optimization in terms of its hardware setting and having a built-in launcher giving consumers smooth performance and well support for the media applications.
Nintendo meant to remind consumers that the Nintendo NX will not be in the same ecosystem that the PlayStation and Xbox consoles compete in. Definitely, Nintendo is generating its own ecosystem having it on top of Android. Since Nintendo has been already dealing with smartphone games, then there is no doubt that in their next gaming console release they would explore on the Android system; it might be that Nintendo NX dedicated gaming system could run Android.
