Yahoo unleashes all-new daily fantasy sports league, expects it to be a game changer
Yahoo's official launch of its daily fantasy sports league has stirred a joyful gush of excitement among the millions of fantasy users across the world. The league is said to have various sports contests like guaranteed or 50/50 contest. Yahoo will manage all the funds poured in by fantasy users and assures for a secure payment system in place. Pay outs will be through PayPal within two days.
Though users can create their own contests, but this is applicable only for Major League Baseball as of now, more new sports will be kicked off soon in 45 states. However, fantasy fanatics from Washington, Montana, Louisiana, Arizona and Iowa cannot participate in Yahoo Sports Daily Fantasy.
Yahoo's Daily Fantasy sports league is debuting at a time when the daily fantasy sports contest platform is being ruled by names like FanDuel and Draftkings. It will be interesting to see how Yahoo fares in the competition.
