The Digitize Box, Shotbox Tabletop Photo Light Studio, Was Launched On Kickstarter

Aaron Johnson, a co-inventor of the Circuit Cutting Machine is launching Shotbox on Kickstarter. Shotbox is a handy tabletop photo studio that comes in the form of a box which lit its inside surface by the use of LED lights to achieve perfect shots with any type of cameras including smart phones and tablets.

Shotbox is a digitize box that is manageable and transferable. It is designed to be used on product photography and capturing documents with any of your smart phones.

As told on Kickstarter website, Aaron Johnson, the Shotbox inventor is having difficulties in scanning an old 12 x 12 scrapbook journal. He perceived that the scrapbook pages will not fit into common scanners. Besides, some history archive websites don't use scanners at all, saving old files by capturing it on a high-end camera instead. Thus, he thought of creating a box with an ideal lighting background.

The Crowd Funding Centre highlighted some features of the Shotbox. You might observe that the Shotbox has LED diffusion strips on the surface; it is because those strips produce a softer light. There is also the black knob to control the LED light switching between brightness and dimness.

The tabletop studio works with all types of smart phones and tablets today as well because Johnson and his team developed the Shotbox for all types of cameras. The unit comes with the SideShot, which is optional, but it is guaranteed that you will generate stunning shots with your smart phone or tablet when you use it. The Shotbox official website specified every part of the SideShot. It is simple to attach and you can change the elevation and distance straight away. LED's are built-in at the back of the plate so you will have the exact amount of lightning and focus on the subject. The SideShot kit comes with four color backgrounds; white, black, blue and green.

At this time, the shotbox had pledged $20, 927. The project must reach $50, 000 until August 28 by 4:22 PM AWST.
