The European Union's (EU) latest proposal to bring an amicable solution in sharing refugees among member nations received a mixed reaction in a meeting held in Brussels. The European Commission (EC) has made the proposal on how to share over 120,000 refugees among 28 member nations. Germany and other major European nations are backing the proposal, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, and Hungary voted against the proposal. Finland didn't participate in the meeting. However, regardless of the opinions expressed in the meeting, the European Commission is determined to implement the proposal.

The different factors such as the political unrest, war and poverty in the Middle East, Africa, and Asian nations are driving people move out of their homeland. All these people are moving towards European nations and the number of immigrants into the Europe rose to half a million this year so far. 

European nations are fighting among themselves blaming each other in accommodating large numbers of refugees. The European Union (EU) has chalked out a plan. The European nations are facing the worst refugee crisis since the World War-II. 

Moving from the Middle East and African borders, refugees are first entering Greece and Italy to reach out to rich nations such as Germany and Britain. Whereas eastern and central European nations are preventing the entry of refugees and forcing them move towards neighboring countries.

European Commission Vice-President Frans Timmermans says no country had challenged the EU's decision before voting. Hence, the commission will implement it to resolve the refugee crisis that's disturbing the harmony among the European nations. 

EU officials are optimistic that a scheduled meeting on Wednesday (23 September) will result in a favorable solution acceptable to all. EU will also take the decision on extending financial help to Turkey, Jordan, and other countries, which are accommodating about four million Syrian refugees.

It's estimated that over 11 million Syrians became homeless following the political unrest and war in their homeland. Everyone looks to EU-wide emergency summit for an acceptable solution to resolve the refugee crisis. 

The proposal of EU will be presented in the emergency meeting. Prague had earlier cautioned that implementing any such scheme on accommodating large number of refugees would cause major problem for the European nations. 

Eastern countries express concern over the traditional and religious balance as these countries have no tradition in integrating large number of Muslims. 

Slovenian Prime Minister Miro Cerar said that he was not pessimist. In case there's no solution for refugee crisis that's disturbing the European nations, definitely he would find joint measures.
