Samsung Z3 launched in India, made for India
Samsung Electronics has launched the Samsung Z3, a second generation of Tizen-based smartphone that offers powerful performance and brings better specifications compared with the first generation of Samsung Tizen, Samsung Z1.
Samsung had skipped the name Z2 for this second generation of Tizen OS based smartphone and offers much more features in this advanced Tizen smartphone.
Samsung Z3 brings tighter integration between software, services and hardware. This new generation of Tizen also offers easy customization via exclusive, localized features including "My Galaxy" that provides access to rewards and benefits.
Samsung Z3 is designed specifically for the Indian market, according to Samsung Tomorrow. The so-called "android-replace" smartphone is preloaded with My Galaxy app that brings rewards offers, entertainment content, local deals, and special cares.
This phone is also featured with Mix Radio app that supports regional Indian language like Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Bangla, Odiya, and Marathi, according to Indian Express.
As announced in Samsung's official site, Samsung Z3 with Tizen v2.3 as the operating system is featured with Ultra Data Saving Mode (UDSM) as featured in Samsung Galaxy J2, that provides data compressing and let you save up to 40% on your apps. Samsung Z3 also featured with Ultra Power Saving Mode (UPSM) that allows the battery to stand by up to 33 hours even when the phone is at 10% battery.
The performance of Samsung Z3 equipped with Spreadtrum Chipset with quad-core processor and 1.3 Hz clock speed. This Tizen smartphone also has 1GB of RAM and internal memory capacity of 8GB and expandable to 128GB. With this extra large memory capacity, you can save over than 30 million tracks in this smartphone.
For internet browsing, Samsung Z3 featured with UPS, UDS, and offline browsing mode. With the offline browsing mode, you can download and save favourite websites and go through them back even when the data connection is unavailable.
Samsung Z3 is said to be known for taking a perfect shot no matter how dark it is. For this feature it has 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera with brighter lens using F2.2 aperture. The front camera provides wide angle selfie of 120 degrees. It is also featured with beauty enhancement mode for better selfies.
Samsung Z3 also offers 12.7cm super AMOLED display HD with a resolution of 1280 x 720. Super AMOLED panel delivers deeper colour reproduction and excellent contrast ratio for clearer images.
Launched this October in India only, Samsung Z3 is available in three colours- black, silver, and gold, and priced at 8,490 rupees or $130.
