Lufthansa to launch nonstop flight between San Jose and Frankfurt, airlines offer Business Class Deal from USA to London for just $2000
Lufthansa just announced that it will launch a new nonstop flight between San Jose and Frankfurt next spring. Moreover, in a response to the British Airways' fare prima, Lufthansa reportedly starts off its great Business Class fare from US Gateways To London for just $2000.
Reportedly, Lufthansa is deciding to launch a new nonstop flight between San Jose and Frankfurt next spring, which is a huge deal for Mineta San Jose International Airport and the new sign of the facility's revival. Airport officials even called earlier Wednesday for a Friday news conference to "share a significant air service announcement," without identifying the carrier or route. However, the airline company updated new flight details into industry databases on Wednesday showing a nonstop Frankfurt to San Jose flight starting on April 29, as reported by Airline Route.
In addition, on Wednesday, Mayor Sam Liccardo confirmed via a phone call about the airline's coming arrival. "It didn't take a hard sell, because Lufthansa officials clearly understood the value proposition of connecting to San Jose and Silicon Valley," he revealed. "It's a clear win for San Jose," Joe Brancatelli, who writes the Seat 2B column for The Business Journals added.
The Lufthansa flight announcement was revealed less than two months after British Airways claimed it would begin flying nonstop between San Jose and London starting May 4 of next year. This is allegedly a remarkable turnaround as San Jose had no nonstop overseas service for years until All Nippon Airways started Dreamliner service to Narita, Japan, in early 2013.
Meanwhile, according to Lufthansa Flyer, in a seemingly direct response to British Airways' fare sale, the airline company also launched a great Business Class fare from US Gateways To London for a worth of $2000. But it may be a few dollars higher or lower depending on flight schedules. Availability of the travel fare will be available for the next year until mid-May.
Lufthansa also promises that it will also cover all of LH's North American gateways. In other words, frequent flyers can take a flight to London from Newark for $2020 or from LAX to London for $2020. And purportedly, customers think that this is not a bad Premium Cabin Mileage Run candidate.
