Cuising aboard the MV Adonia, a 710-passenger vessel redeployed from Carnival's P&O Cruises (UK), Fathom's service-oriented passengers function with the locals as they undertake community needs. The cruise line merged the number of fare choices into stateroom, oceanview stateroom, balcony stateroom and suite stateroom categories.
"Travel pricing can be complicated, so we have taken a straightforward, transparent approach to pricing Fathom experiences, condensing the number of fare categories and breaking down pricing by occupancy and season," stated Tara Russell, president of Fathom and global impact lead for Carnival via Cruise Industry News.
She added, "Impact travel experiences historically have been limited, hard to identify, and complex to piece together and schedule. Our pricing philosophy is consistent with our goal of simplifying the entire experience - Fathom offers an accessible, convenient and high-value offering that is easy to book and competitively priced."
