Known as a communist nation in East Asia, it seems like China knows how to keep their new generation loyal to their country. The Wuhan government opened up a theme park where children learn more about their country's ideals of communism.

According to CNN, a Communist Party theme park at the Central Hubei province in china was built in honor of their nation's heroes. The said theme park opened last September and located inside the 300,000-square-meter South Lake Happiness Bay Water Park. Wuhan Chinese officials plan to promote patriotism and communist party ideals as it is just one of six parks the city.

The theme park exhibits Young Pioneers flag and an illuminated sculpture and engraves the communist party's core values, the BBC reported. They aimed to help spectators to fully understand the ideals of the party such as "socialism with Chinese characteristics" and the "outstanding contributions" lead by important historical figures in the Party.

The IB Times also reported, some of the theme park's features also "bluntly courting" the new generation for the Communist Party ideals. One of the attraction found on the park an area where a youth can take an oath to join the Communist Youth League, a playground with cartoon figures of Red Army Soldiers, the floor mapping out Mao's army's famous Long March in the 1930s to evade Nationalist Army forces.

Chinese media called it as red "benefits", however, the theme park so far has also received numerous immediate criticisms by the public. Some Chinese citizens are not too happy with the park's theme and they had to express it on the social media. A Weibo online user named H_Helios posted, "Not complete; they also need to set up a few statues of corrupt officials for citizens to spit on."

Another one commented, "Schools and work units probably will organize trips there, brainwashing kids and enhancing employees' sense of identity with the party." Though, their so-called "Red Tourism" has mixed reactions from the country's citizens, still the said theme Park has grown over the nation.
