Apple Music: iTunes for beta Android

Despite being the top rated tech-oriented company, Apple has not stopped plowing the field of fame and advanced ideas.

Apple Music, an Apple app is now available on Android too. On Tuesday, it was introduced in beta Androids, taking almost five months after the service launched on iOS and on iTunes for Windows/Mac, accumulating around 6.5 million paying subscribers, according to Mashable.

Apple Music is the first user-centric app for android, which made it available and be enjoyed by many users on a different mobile platform. Apps like migration tool and Beats' products are not Apple-labeled.

In an interview with TechCrunch, Apple's SVP of Internet Software and Services, Eddy Cue said, "We've obviously been really excited about the response we've gotten to Apple Music. People love the human curation aspects of it, discovery, radio," he added, "But from the moment we got into music, many, many years ago, we've always wanted to do things for everyone when it came down to music. Part of that was letting you enjoy your music no matter where you were and what products you were using."

Similar to the iOS version, Apple Music is granted with complete 3 months free trial period with the same price range globally. To enjoy the service of the Apple's music app, the smartphone should be updated with Android 4,3 or later version and also, it works with For You, New, Radio and Beats 1, Connect and My Music.

As reported by Tech Times, Android beta version is accessible to almost all the Apple Music functions and features, including Connect, Beats 1 and custom music suggestions. However, it lacks few functions which are music videos and other than that an Android user cannot sign up for the service's family plan. In order to sign up for the app, Android users will need Apple ID, however, Apple is still struggling on making the sign-up process easier and convenient for those, who does not have Apple IDs.

Current subscribers can utilize their account to synchronize every song that they've already set up on iTunes. On top of that, it is enthralling to know that Google will engulf 30 percent of the fee if Android users pay for the Apple Music subscription.

According to Cue, Apple Music was designed in an 'Android' way, to make the Android users to feel 'at home'. He said, "We wanted customers on Android to naturally be able to use it - what they've learned and how they interact is common. Things as simple as [that] the share icon looks like an Android share icon; the menu structure being where it is; these are things that most Android customers are familiar with. We wanted to make sure that they felt very familiar with Apple Music when they sat down to use it."

Music is worldwide interest and each day, new music is released by artists globally. When the music industry is amid multiple music albums release from Justin Bieber, One Direction, and Rihanna, the launch of Apple Music is anticipated to get hits, according to Mashable.

Apple Music is a beta version of Android has launched in all the countries Apple has Music for iOS in, except for China, where it will be launching 'very soon'.
