Airport Lounge Review: Iberia Airlines Business Class Lounge
Iberia offers three Business Class Lounges in Madrid offering almost the same accessible facilities. The airline has its three main Iberia Lounges namely the Iberia Velázquez VIP Lounge in Terminal 4S on the first floor, the Iberia Goya VIP Lounge, also in Terminal 4S on the ground floor; and the Iberia Dalí VIP Lounge in Terminal 4, which were reviewed by frequent flyers in Madrid.
According to Travel Sort, the Iberia Velázquez VIP Lounge, the Iberia Goya VIP Lounge, and the Iberia Dalí VIP Lounge all offer private work areas for their passengers. There is also a free access to WiFi, buffet dining, bar, showers, and accessible facilities. But the main difference recognized by travelers is that the Iberia Velázquez VIP Lounge is open for customers 24 hours, while the Iberia's other two Madrid business class lounges are only available for 6 in the morning until midnight.
But not everyone can access the airline company's business class lounge. Flyers that can avail the Iberia Business Class Lounges are those passengers with a same day Iberia Business Plus or Business Class boarding pass and those who are Oneworld Emerald and Sapphire elites with a same day oneworld boarding pass.
Iberia Plus Platinum and Gold frequent flyer members with a boarding pass valid for the day on an Iberia or oneworld flight to access the VIP Lounges of companies in the oneworld alliance, as well as Iberia Plus Platinum and Gold frequent flyer members with a boarding card valid on the day for flights operated by the Iberia Group and/or marketed by Iberia to access to any of the VIP Lounges Iberia offers around the world can also access Iberia's business class lounge.
The Iberia Dali business class lounge in Madrid Barajas Terminal 4 is separated into 2 areas. They are both vast areas with comfortable seating which a lot of travelers enjoy, as claimed by Bangalore Aviation. The main area has a spacecraft design incorporated into it, with little chairs, and fountains inside it along with the reading materials, that are dominated by Spanish choices.
For food options, the buffet had several hot options, including a chicken dish, vegetable casserole, potatoes, fish, rice, and mushrooms, and a Spanish style tortilla made with potatoes and egg. The business lounges also serve salads, pasta, sandwiches, wraps and sushi rolls for customers who want "ready-to-go" food choices. Most clients are also delighted that the business lounges also produce an array of choices for alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks.
And although the areas of the lounge are divided into 2. One Mile At A Time revealed that travelers can actually get between the two sides of the lounge either through the area in front of the reception desk, or via a narrow walkway on the other side of the lounge. Each side of the lounges is quite similar, but the other part has some more varied seating areas, including high-top seating as well as a TV room in it.
Meanwhile, travelers are claiming that the Iberia Business Class Lounge in Madrid has everything they have expected for an international business class lounge. The three main Iberia Lounges are also quite similar to one another, they are all serving buffets as well as ready-to-go foods, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, wifi access, a bar, showers, and accessible facilities.
