Alfa Romeo's Released its new Giulia Quadrifoglio after 20 years hiatus
Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo returned last year to the US after a 20-year hiatus with its new 4C coupe in the front line, and it is applauded by car enthusiasts. Now they released it s new Giulia Quadrifoglio.
According to the Business Insider, Alfa Romeo revealed its latest Giulia Quadrifoglio sedan at the 2015 LA Auto Show in Los Angeles. The four-door sedan's name means M3-killer in Italian. The 4C is very impressive that it has been nicknamed "Ferrari for half the price." As most cars are transitioning to fuel efficiency, environmentally friendly, electric, and hybrid cars, Alpha Romeo is going to capitalize on the American drivers' love for speed.
Mashable reported that Alfa Romeo may have brought the 4C sports car last year, but the release of Giulia Quadrifoglio seems to be the real return of the car company to the US stores. It comes with 2.9-litre bi-turbo V6, which is based on the Ferrari. It delivers a powerful 505 horsepower. It can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds. Its top speed is 191 mph. This means the car is not only fast. It is very fast that it can make other fast cars look not fast.
In a review by Motor Authority, the new Giulia is going to underpin the traditional lineup from Alfa Romeo. It has double wishbone suspension in the front and in the back, it has a multi-link setup. It weighs 3,360 lbs thanks to the aluminum and carbon fiber it has. It also has a 50:50 front-to-rear weight distribution. It also comes with carbon ceramic brakes, as well as Spacro carbon fiber front seats. It comes in various modes including Natural, Efficiency, Dynamic, Advanced, and Race.
It will be out in local showrooms in the second of 2016. Those who want to be the first people to get their hands on the new car have to pay $70,000.
