T-Mobile gifts customers with unlimited LTE promo
T-Mobile, one of the biggest mobile carrier company in the US is currently doing a special promotion for its subscriber as the holiday season is approaching. The company is offering a 3 months free unlimited 4G LTE line for its current subscriber starting December 1.
The latest deal by T-Mobile is part of the company's new "un-carrier unwrapped" promotion where it will release new gift for its subscribers for every week in December.
According to SlashGear, the three months free 4G LTE is only for the existing Simple Choice customers.
The company also said in their advertisement that any new subscribers will only be receiving the benefit if they had registered for the postpaid plan before last November 23.
However, there are still some rules that subscribers need to follow when signing up for its latest promotion as the company wants to curb people from misusing the deal.
Among the regulation set by T-Mobile is that subscribers need to have its latest Binge On Streaming devices activated on their mobile as reported by PC World.
Binge On Streaming is the streaming video application offered by the mobile carrier that allow its subscriber to watch video from Netflix, Hulu, HBO Now and others on their smartphone.
If the company detected that a subscriber deactivated the application at any time, within the three months, the deal will be automatically taken back. Final rule set by T-Mobile is that subscribers are not allowed to use tethering to allow its data to be used by another device.
T-Mobile CEO, John Legere said that the deal meant as a reward for its loyal subscriber.
According to Tech Times, Legere said in an interview that the company had "a fantastic year". It wants to spread "that T-Mobile cheer by starting with the most important people first ... our existing customers".
"Now you get Unlimited LTE data on our blazing fast network for three full months as a gift from the Uncarrier to you", Legere added.
T-Mobile "Un-carrier Unwrapped" is a promotion done by the company to attract more subscribers as the war between mobile carriers get tougher due to many new companies offering various low charges. The free 4G LTE line provided b T-Mobile will run from December 1st till the end of February.
The mobile carrier also announces that there will be a surprise treat aim especially for Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint customers in the next three week as the company is planning to persuade subscribers to change their mobile carrier.
