ASUS Zenfone Selfie Unveiled, Made Perfect For Selfies

The ZenFone Selfie, the latest edition to the ZenFone series, was unveiled by ASUSTEK Computer Inc. last June 1, 2015 at Computex 2015. Although the ZenFone Selfie is not as high-end as ASUS' other ZenFone models, this one is made especially for taking selfies.

Packing a 13 megapixel front cam with its own dual LED flash for the front and back, this is the perfect phone for the selfie lover according to Phone Arena. The front cam also boasts an f/2.2 aperture which gives it an 88-degree field of view which will allow users to capture more from each picture. The view can be expanded to 140 degrees using the panorama mode.  The phone also has the "Selfie Swing" which is a detachable bumper which extends the phone and allows you to take a better shot.

Phandroid reports that aside from the beefed up camera, the ZenFone Selfie also boasts of its 5.5 inch 1080p resolution IPS LCD screen that'll allow the user to see their selfies with more detail. Inside the ZenFone Selfie is Qualcomm's octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset which will be running the android 5.0 lollipop operating system with ease. Selfies can also be edited using

One of the unique features this phone contains is the front cam's quick access.  Users will just have to write the letter "S" on the screen when the screen is off and the phone will now move into selfie-mode after a short while.  On the exterior of the phone is the power button located at the top and the volume buttons are located at the back just below the rear camera.

Asus has not yet announced when the ZenFone Selfie will be released or its availability in retail stores but it will be available in seven shades, that is white, pink, and aqua blue, and optional metallic back covers in black, gold, grey, and red.
