American Express redefines gaming experience as it launches a new virtual-reality action where tennis fans can play with Maria Sharapova at the 2015 US Open, which starts on August 31.
The innovative technology, called "You Vs. Sharapova," is a simulation that lets tennis fans play with the greatest. Officials use HTC Vive technology and Valve's Lighhouse tracking system to make this virtual-reality experience possible.
Videos regarding this game show that it is very immersive, providing a more realistic game play than Wii U or any other system. You will really be standing and waving your arms while a CGI Sharapova stands in front of you to launch a 100-mph serve. The player will truly feel a rush in their blood while enjoying this new game from American Express.
The new VR experience will be available to the fans who will attend the US Open which will be held in New York at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center from August 31 to September 13.
