No doubt, Germany's Oktoberfest is the world's largest beer festival. The Annual event gathers about six million revelers every year and drinks over six million liters of beer within the three-week celebration. Germany's oldest folk beer festival is also widely celebrated outside Munich even in New York city.

A restaurant in New York offers an authentic feel of the Germany's Oktoberfest. Munich natives and even New Yorkers gather in Zum Schneider to celebrate the annual event in New York City. It is a Bavarian Bierhaus, also a German restaurant in New York City which serves authentic German cuisines and showing German cultures and traditions.

The Business Insider wrote, during the course of three-week celebration of Oktoberfest in Munich, the Zum Schneider restaurant has the largest Oktoberfest celebrations, calling it, "Munich on the East River," held in New York. Setting up a large beer tent on their place and serving authentic German beer, the Zum Schneider restaurant perfectly created a little Munich town within New York.

The party has a live performing German bands playing German music, tow known performers were, Mosl Franzi and the JaJaJa's. Six of the Munich's traditional beers were served, such as Augustiner, Hofbräu München, Spaten-Franziskaner, Löwenbräu, Hacker-Pschorr and Paulaner. Authentic Geman foods also include giant pretzels, rotisserie chicken and obatzda.

Aside from the Zum Schneider's "Munich On The East River", plenty of Oktoberfest events sprung up on all around the city of New York, the Daily News reported, some of the best Oktoberfest events to hang out are at the Standard High Line Biergarten's Oktoberfest and at the Beer at the Pier at the Watermark Bar Pier 15 with performance of live German music.

Also enjoy at the Zeppelin Hall with their classic traditional German beers, sausages and pretzels fresh from Munich and be served by the staff on their beautiful Bavarian costumes. New Yorkers don't need to fly to Munich to experience German Oktoberfest celebrations. Why leave the city when New York City Oktoberfest can also give you a Germany-like traditional beer party atmosphere.
