US Bank’s Flexperks Promotions: Free Gogo Pass Promo with FlexPerks Visa

US Bank is currently spending promotions for the holidays. The bank is actually offering clients 12 free Gogo Wifi day passes for being FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Signature Cardholders.

Many users find the US Bank FlexPerks card as one of their favorites when it comes to secondary points programs cards. The card offers 3X points for charities, 2X points for cell phone, and 2X for gas, grocery, or airline purchases almost every month. Frequent Miler even particularly considered Kiva conveniently charitable to its users.

Reportedly, one of the good ways to get good value from the card is to use it only for bonus categories. And, since cardholders will get 2X for gas, grocery, or airline depending on which they spend the most on, it is best to use this card only for one of those categories. Another reason considered by many is that its points can be quite valuable, but only under specific situations. Points are said to be the best for traveling, but only when prices are close to but not above certain thresholds.

To see if users may qualify the promotion, they can check the US Bank official website to find the FlexPerks number, to log in to their US Bank credit card account and look at reward details under their FlexPerks account. It should have the FlexPerks account number, which is different from your credit card number. They will also need the actual credit card number later on to verify access to the Gogo passes.

If the clients already activated the offer, the 12 passes are available for 12 months. As advised by frequent users, one must also be very strategic and activate them before a flight on which a client can redeem the first pass.

To date, the new bonus offered on the card is 20,000 points after $3,500 spending. Although some have found the deal costly, some also claimed that it is worth considering if a user wants to add a US Bank card to the portfolio. The annual fee is actually $49 but waived the first year. When spending $24,000 in a year, users may get an additional 3,500 points that they use to pay the annual fee. But as mentioned in Travel Codex, if clients decide to apply for a US Bank card, they should consider freezing the secondary credit reports.

Many cardholders also advise new users to take note that they should probably wait until they are ready to use at least one pass of the promo. They also informed other clients that they need not to worry about the expiration of the passes since they will run for 12 months from the day you register.
