Apple Admits New iPad Pro Has Some Charging Issue

There is an increasing number of iPad Pro users who complain that their devices don't respond to touches or when pressing the wake button, and Apple admitted that its device has some charging issues.

According to the Irish Examiner the tech giant admitted that some of their iPad Pro are becoming unresponsive after charging and needs hard reset to work again. Users are advised to press and hold the home button and the sleep button for 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

It is less likely for Apple to concede to reports of defects on its product. Even though the issue is not yet widespread, it is still not ideal.

GSMarena reported that some users have their iPad Pros freezing after being charged. There are other users who claim that the reason for this defect is the iOS 9.1. If that is the case, then a simple update to iOS 9.2 can easily fix the problem.

Apple posted a support document on its website that they are aware of the problem and are now investigating it. In the meantime, affected users can bring their devices to the store where they purchased it and try to get an exchange, reported Uber Gizmo.

Besides the freezing and the charging issues, another problem Apple is facing is the concern of smaller developers that the iPad Pro is still run by mobile software and may not give them the financial incentives in the App Store for iOS. They believe that they can't charge users the same amount they would with a software developed for the desktop.

This has become a widespread problem among mobile software development. This poses a problem for smaller software companies on choosing which software platform to target, especially as mobile and PC are being integrated. One example is how software developers can't offer free trials on the App Store download process.
