Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has narrowed it down to a little after summer and not long before fall for the integration of Microsoft's new operating system being launched on Xbox One. The Xbox owner posted this official statement on his Twitter page.

The confirmation was posted on Twitter after a fan asked a question regarding the Windows 10 availability on Xbox One. The fan tweeted: "@XboxP3 any idea when xbox one windows 10 beta will start big Phil." Spencer replied, "@dave125norco It will be post-summer."

Just this month, Microsoft announced that the Windows 10 integration on Xbox One will be delayed. However, it will be the next device to get an upgrade after PC. Mobile devices will come third and HoloLens comes in as the last system to get the Windows 10 integration.

Also, the integrated Xbox One will first be tested by the Preview Program users in order to test the features before it will be rolled out on full blast. The features are normally tested for at least a month before the rest of the public get to experience it. The Preview Program is available only to members and users who will get an invite.

It is not yet clear how the Windows 10 integration will affect Xbox One and how the updates will operate. However, Spencer did say that users will expect that when Windows 10 arrives, it will not morph the games console into an "enterprise-centric device." Meaning, it won't have Excel or Word or other Microsoft products but it will be a port for experiencing what users experience via PCs.

Another confirmation regarding the integration of Windows 10 on Xbox One is that Xbox One users can stream games to their Windows 10 PCs. Also, a cross-platform play will be allowed in order to let Xbox users and PC users play RPG together.

There will be seven different editions of Windows 10 and there still is no definite date as to when Windows 10 can be seen in Xbox One.
