Sony Xperia Z4 compact to be available in Japan in June; global edition may be forthcoming
The awaited Sony Xperia Z4 compact will be available by June but only in Japan. However, the new high-tech mobile phone may be released globally only if it performs well in the said country.
According to a source, the Sony Xperia Z4 compact has been created with the aim to beat Android mobile phones such as Samsung Galazy S6, LG G4, HTC One M9 and some high-tech phones from China. The new phone features a micro-SD card slot and a battery that can last up to three days. It boasts of a 20.7 MO primary camera with a 2.2 MP selfie shooter. Sony Xperia Z4 compact is also water and dust resistant, having met IPX5/8 and IP6X standards. However, Sony says Xperia Z4 will be available in Japan only. The possibility of having a global version lies on how well it will perform in the said country.
ANOTHER NAME
Moreover, Sony Xperia Z4 compact will also be known as Sony Xperia A4. A source says Sony Xperia A4/Z4 compact is said to be 4.6 inches in size with 1, 280 X 720 pixels that is almost the same as the latest Xperia Z3. The new device will have a RAM configuration of 2 GB and a back-up of 16 GB built-in storage space. It will be available in white, blue, grey and pink colors.
As its name says, Sony Xperia Z4 compact will be a miniature or compact version of the Sony Xperia Z4. It will be a better version in terms of specs and other features which consumers have missed out in the older phone, according to a report.
No direct and official statement yet from Sony has been heard about this but Sony Xperia fanatics will surely experience a Sony Xperia Z4 compact or whatever it will be called, soon.
