Huawei Honor 4X wins in battery life category; offers great specs for a mid-range price
Huawei Honor 4X leads the race to the best battery performance among several leading mid-range phones and it offers even more notable specs. Compared to other manufacturers, Huawei doesn't seem to hold back in delivering value for money smartphones.
Honor 4X made a triumphant performance in a recent battery test among a few mid-range smartphones. Its 3000 mAh battery came up with 33 hours and 19 minutes of talk time, 16 hours and 4 minutes of video playback and 7 hours and 8 minutes of 3G Browsing.
Other handsets following the lead are Acer Liquid E700, Motorola Moto E 2nd Gen and Lenovo A6000. Battery is the biggest edge of Honor 4X along with its other impressive specs.
Although its design is the same as other mid-range phones, Huawei made a considerable effort to make Honor 4X specs stand out in its category. Huawei Honor 4X runs on HiSilicon Kirin 620. Octa-core clocking at 1.2 GHz, Android KitKat 4.4, has 2 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage expandable to 32 GB, 5.5" LCD, 267ppi, f/2.0 aperture on a 13 MP back camera, 5 MP selfie cam and retails around $140.
The telecoms manufacturer released its new set of Honor line last month in China featuring Honor 4C, Honor Pad Note and Honor Pad. Honor 4X is being sold online through Amazon pre-orders while it's higher end counterpart Honor 6 Plus arrived in UK early this month. The China-based company Huawei is currently one of the leading telecommunications manufacturers supplying telecom equipment and phones worldwide.
Huawei is one of those mobile phone manufacturers that went up the lead by edging out its competition with higher specs. Most mid-range phones have 8 MP back camera while Honor 4X along with Lenovo S60 and Alcatel Flash Plus opted for a higher resolution 13 MP main camera. Its only 3 MP short compared to high-end smartphones which are being sold at twice its price, such as Samsung S6 and LG G4.
