LG New Smartphone Comes With Dual-Screen and Cameras
South Korean electronics company, LG teases android fan worldwide with their new fifteen-second smartphone teaser on YouTube. The video with the tagline "Be You" revealed a little bit of the smartphone feature details hoping to get users excited. The new smartphone is expected to be released on October 1st next week based on the date that appeared at the end.
The black and white video gives viewers a glimpse of their new smartphone, the V10 appears to have two front cameras and a second small screen ticker beside the camera. The teaser, according to Engadget, confirmed the previous leaked by Evan Blass and image by China'a TENAA regulator.
According to the leaked info as reported by Mashable, LG V10 will have a higher specification compared to LG G4 released in April this year which failed to meet the manufacturer's sales target. Evan Blass said that the LG V10 will have a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen including the ticker screen, 3 GB, 64 GB storage, and it will run using the octa-core Snapdragon 808 processor.
This latest flagship will also be equipped with the latest integrated fingerprint scanner which has been a must-have feature by lots of manufacturers recently. While for the camera, LG V10 will have a 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front cameras. There is also a microSD slot at its side enabling the user to get more storage. However, the maximum allowable storage capacity is unknown.
The detailed reason of having two front cameras is still unknown, but it is reported to be able to make the camera capture more detail with faster focus. Same goes with the ticker screen, the teaser seems to show that it will be able to show some notes, but it is likely able to feature some apps like Samsung's smartphone.
Cnet reported that LG rival, Samsung latest phone design, the Galaxy S6 Edge proof that demand for a smartphone with a different design is still high. Samsung even reported that the company is struggling to meet the market demand for the phone.
The two-screen and dual camera design is expected to drive sales for LG as the smartphone market nearing saturation. LG has been reporting a decrease in their sales starting this year as the company struggled to compete with Samsung and lower priced manufacturer likes Xiaomi and Huawei. The V10 is the second flagship released this year by LG and it is hoping to regain back their share of the market with the new smartphone.
