Vail Resorts Creates the Largest Ski Resort Park City in US through their New Gondola

Vail resorts has created the largest skiing resort in United States with 7,300 acres skiable terrain. The two of their owned ski resorts in North America, the Park City Mountain and the Utah's Canyons Resort have been connected together by the new gondola. Thus, the Park City was created and now is the largest among the ski areas in US. The Park City has push Montana's Big Sky's in the first place with 5,800 acres. United States' largest ski resort is now the second largest next to the British Columbia's Whistler with 8, 171 acres.

The new gondola has become the way to combine the two ski areas. It is called the Quick Silver gondola which has eight seats and runs in a high speed. Passengers can get off at the Pinecone Ridge to ski or get on the gondola again to go down the Thaynes Canyon trail, back and forth.

According to the Telegraph, other new developments are found at the Park City. A new restaurant called Snow Hut Lodge is build at the Park City quicksilver gondola's base which can accommodate 500 people. Upgraded facilities were also seen such as, the King Con quad which is now the added with six seats and fast quad that is now use to go up to the core of the Park City. The Red Pine Lodge restaurant was also improve and expanded at the Canyons.

The Vail resort had invested $50 million as for the expansions and improvements that includes developing 40 lifts and three hundred trails, the Forbes reported. A ridgeline divides the two ski areas and was now link the latest new gondola.

With their announcement of interconnecting the two resorts, the Park City Mountain and the Canyons Resort, it will be rebranded as the Park City and the Canyons base will also changed into "Canyon Village".
