United Kingdom's flag carrier, British Airways introduces discount on Avios Travel redemptions in World Traveller. Lucky passengers of the said airlines, members of British Airways Executive Club and Avios Travel Rewards are granted 40% discount redemptions for the World Traveller seats available on long haul flight routes.

According to Economy Class and Beyond, travelers should book by November 2, 2015 in World Traveller's newest rates and also for the flights between the 19^th of October 2015 and 20^th of March the next year, 2016. One of the flight routes on sale is the British Airways Boeing 747-400 at New York JFK.

The Business Traveller also reported, there are 65 long haul flights available for this promo and in order to avail it, travelers should book between the given dates, November to March. On the list with discount promo, the New York flight route economy travel class, Boston and Dubai flights for 15,600 Avios off-peak or 24,000 peak, instead of 26,000 and 40,000. The Hongkong and Tokyo flights are also now available for 23,400 off-peak or 36,000 peak, compared to its usual 39,000 and 60,000.

However, according to Head for Points, the deal is still not quite that great as the reason, "such is the scale of BA's taxes and charges, and the deal is still poor." Here are the selected destinations and the charge taxes.
