Starwood Hotels & Resorts Great Deals: Starwood teases Cyber Monday sale for 2015

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and its award-winning Starwood Preferred Guest program are encouraging shoppers to unwrap the world through its most expansive Cyber Monday sale ever. This sale program is currently offering remarkable discounts globally for the first time.

According to WS News, as Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide commemorates its one year anniversary of SPG Pro, which is its award-winning loyalty program for meeting and travel professionals, the hotel is offering a lot of great deals. Moreover, the SPG Pro has revolutionized the B2B loyalty space as the first program of its kind to reward members who booked at Starwood, and provides customers with the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of SPG membership.

"SPG Pro allows us to reward our customers like nobody else, offering one holistic program that recognizes the personal and professional bookings with us. Just one year in, SPG Pro has generated noteworthy revenue, grown our member base in 189 countries, and rewarded enough points to book more than 150,000 room nights."  Stated Alison Taylor, Senior Vice President, Starwood Sales Organization. She also added, "As we look to be the easiest and most rewarding company to do business with, we will continue to grow and evolve this platform for our global customers."

Starwood and SPG are also getting a heads up on Cyber Monday as they debut the promotional rates on November 23 and running through December 6. This feature discounts of up to 25% off at more than 1,000 hotels and resorts, and as much as 50% off at select locations, as claimed by Business Wire. The members of the Starwood Preferred Guest program will also benefit from an additional 5% savings upon booking through the Cyber Monday sale. The members can actually enroll in this promotion for free by visiting the official page of SPG.

Previously, The Points Guy also reported that Hilton already unveiled its Cyber Monday sale plans.  And now, Starwood is also joining in with its own post-Thanksgiving deals. During the promo period, customers will be able to book discounted rates at properties globally.

The hotels and destinations participating in the promotion are still unrevealed until the sale are broadcasted. In some cases, clients are said to be able to save as much as 50% off regular rates, though many of the discounts aren't quite as significant.

To date, even though that Starwood is framing this as a Cyber Monday sale, the deals will actually be bookable for two weeks between November 23 and December 6th and  for stays through September 6, 2016.  The participating Starwood brands for the promo include Westin, Sheraton, Le Méridien, W, St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, Four Points, Aloft, Element and Starwood's newest brand, Tribute Portfolio.
