Google To Promote Holiday Shopping Deals Via Text Alerts

Google is currently working on a SMS-based Alert Service which will help users to up-to-date about Holiday Deals on products like smartphones, gaming consoles, software and more. The service is only for US for now, and it falls into 3 categories - Black Friday Deals, Cyber Monday Deals, and Holiday Deals.

Companies like Operator, Fetch, Magic, GoButler, Facebook and others are trying out messaging-based virtual assistants aides that offer you some assistance with buying about anything from airline tickets to restaurant reservations, to awesome endowments and that's just the beginning.

This is noted on an online blog named Google Operating System(on Techcrunch), the promotion list items to subscribe to Black Friday deals appeared on top of the Google indexed lists when the site search for 'Moto X Play' on mobile.

When users click on the advertisement to subscribe to the service, they are requested that message "JOIN" to the applicable phone number (depends upon that they need to subscribe to Deals). Users are informed by Google that their own contact number would not be shared, and that users can quit the service whenever they need, according to NDTv.

Auto dealers also want to explore Google’s new advertising tool to offer consumers holiday specials on cars directly on their smartphones via SMS, according to DrivingSales News. On subscribing, Google would send offers from retailers on PCs, phones, gaming consoles and more. People can snap to subscribe to a Google Service that tailors limited time messages to items they're keen on. In the wake of subscribing, their phone numbers will stay private and they have the alternative to quit accepting messages whenever," said the post.

As Google clarifies it, the 'deals alerts' service it is trying are basically an AdWords now it supports to limited advertisers. It didn't uncover any data on the ad pricing or on what number of taking an interest sponsors arrive for the service until further notice.

Google says clients don't need to wait for the AdWord to appear in the query items as they can specifically content "JOIN" to the numbers gave by Google on its AdWord to look at Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Holiday Deals.
