Google Debuts App Invites, A More Personalized System For Inviting Friends To Try Apps; New Product Is Now Available in iOS and Android Version

Google has released a new product called "App Invites" which aims to help mobile application developers increase their app's user base through personalized app invites.  The said product which is now in beta for iOS and Android features a set of tools send app invites over SMS and email which underlines suggested contacts, builds personalized onboarding experiences for new users, and provides information of the success rate of the invites through custom reports.

Other than the complete productivity and organic reach growth Google's new product offers, the toolset arrives at the right moment considering a number of mobile app creators, specifically in the messaging app space, try to leech out into users' phone contacts just to add users. With App Invites, the developers will have a more convenient and accessible way of creating their own applications' referral and onboarding flows.

It might sound like it's just a simple inviting service but the new product is actually a smart inviting tool. It does not only send application invitations but also recommend which contacts to invite and the ideal way of sending those invites. App Invites recommends its users their closest contacts based on their interaction in all Google applications, like Gmail and Hangouts.

The invitation which will be sent in their contacts' SMS or email address will include an "install" button inside the body of the message. The direct installation process is even easier on Android devices as users will be taken directly to Google Play instead of going to the web browser in between.

Additionally, the new product features deep linking capabilities as a part of its referral process which makes it more personal. Once the system of App Invites is up, its users can measure the progress and effectiveness of their invites through custom reports. These reports will enable the developers to track the number of invites that were accepted, completed and so on.

Google's App Invites is a part of the company's release of Google Play version 7.5 and is already available in beta to all mobile app developers who are interested. It comes with a sample code and step-by-step procedures on how to set up the system in iOS and Android apps.
